Are you looking for a safe, fun project? Something that’s super flashy and loves to snuggle on the cross ties? Come meet Rue!

Rue is beautiful young mare ready to find her own person! She has just finished 90 days of professional training, 60 of those she has been under saddle. Rue was started slowly and correctly and is not sour or hard headed. She has starting jumping small courses and schools over occasional 2’6 oxers and verticals. Just this past weekend (10/20/2019) she was ridden by an adult amateur in our farms Halloween themed jumping clinic. All jumps were decorated to be pretty spooky and Rue was able to navigate the entire course (flapping fake spider webs, graves under oxers, and caution tape was no match for this confident mare). She even kept up with the more experienced horses!

Rue rides out on trail alone or in a group. She will ride in the back, middle, or front but prefers to be the leader.

Have you ever ridden a canter that feels like you’re floating on a cloud? Rue has it! You don’t have to beg Rue to move forward, but you won’t have to hold her back either! She is an easy, straight forward, typical green horse ride. I would recommend a confident intermediate rider who can walk/trot/canter.

Rue stands on the cross ties like it’s her day job, is great to tack up, loads in a trailer, doesn’t mind getting bathed, and can be handled by children on the ground!
